A700 - Adam Aircraft president Joe Walker believes his company’s
VLJ, the A700, will get the FAA’s blessing late this year. So
far, two A700 test aircraft have logged nearly 500 hours, and
a third aircraft is expected to join the fleet in October. |

| Diamond D-Jet
- On April 18, 2006 the Diamond D-Jet completed it's first flight.
Preliminary specifications of the D-Jet, which comes standard
with a three-screen Garmin G1000 avionics system, include a
5,071-pound mtow, 315-knot max cruise speed, 25,000-foot ceiling
and a 1,351-nm range. Diamond claims orders for some 125 of
the “under $1 million” aircraft. Certification is
scheduled for late 2007. |

500 - An Eclipse spokesman said the certification estimate
for the Eclipse 500 is “looking good.” He said Canadian certification
of the Eclipse 500’s Pratt & Whitney Canada PW610F powerplant
has already occurred. |

VLJ company launches all-composite entrant. Priced at $3.65
million the aircraft is slated to have a high-speed cruise of
415 ktas and an IFR range of 1,750nm. |
