Blog Problems

Having a few problems posting the blog to the site. I built BusinessJet.com with the help of some friends and colleagues by using Dreamweaver and some other programs, yet I find it exceedingly difficult to perform certain tasks on the web. The next Bill Gates is the guy/gal that can figure out how to make it "just work."

Learjet 60

Today I went out the local FBO and happened upon three fine examples of the Learjet 60. Two were lined up next to one another on the tarmac while the third was right next to the doors, having either recently delivered or waiting to pick up it's occupants. I thought this was a bit fortuitous as I had just finished reading about the 300th Lear 60 being delivered earlier in the afternoon. This was also the occassion of the 300th Lear 45 being sold also. Both delivery ceremonies took place at the site where Bill Lear revolutionized aviation by designing and building the world's first true business jet some 44 years ago. The Lear 60 really is a great aircraft - although I must be honest I would have thought it would have sold more than 300 copies by it's 16th birthday.

For more information on the Lear 60 download the Learjet 60 Fact Sheet from the Bombardier website.

What is BusinessJetBlog?

BusinessJetBlog is an extension of BusinessJet.com - one with personality, humor and hopefully a little wisdom or insight. My goal with this blog is many-fold. First, I want to let people know about BusinessJet.com "The Business Jet Marketplace." Second, I want to learn more about the Business Jet community and I have always found that the best way to learn is through conversations with those who know something about the industry. Finally, I want to provide a forum for others to discuss their points of view about the industry.

I intend to write about the industry intillegently and in an active manner and promote the site to to those inside and outside the industry.
